Vincent J. Macri, 65, of Harbor Terrace, Edinburg, PA died the morning of Monday, May 28, 2007 in Jameson Memorial Hospital. He was born March 1, 1942 in Hillsville, PA and was the son of the late Gaspero and Margaret Luca Macri. He married the former Rosemarie Ieraci. She survives in Bessemer, PA.

Mr. Macri was a retired employee of WCI Steel Corp of Youngstown, OH. He was a member of St. Lawrence Church of Christ the King Parish. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and stock car races. He was a member of the Johnson Club, the St. Lucy Society, the Mahoning Sportsmen Club and the Fox & Coon Club. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Christine Sutton of Bessemer, PA; one son Richard Macri of Bessemer, PA; a grandson Anthony Sylvester; best friend Kathy Beltz of Edinburg, PA; two brothers Richard Macri of New Castle, PA and Joseph Macri of Long Island, NY and one sister Theresa Pia of New Castle, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter Mariah; a brother Samuel Macri and four sisters Catherine Pia, Judith Ieraci, Anna Ieraci and Mary Cook.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., located at 941 S. Mill Street, New Castle, PA. A Blessing Service will be held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. The Reverend Father James Downs of Christ the King Parish will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
