Robert L. Crans, 81, of New Castle, passed away the morning of January 23, 2019 at Quality Life Services of New Castle.

Born on April 26, 1937 in Franklin Township, Beaver County he was the son of the late Cecil and Lena Kaercher Crans.

He was previously married to the former Cynthia Ann Tomlinson and she survives.

Robert had worked for Quality Rolls before retiring. He loved traveling with Zambelli’s and helping with their firework displays, but his greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

Robert is survived by his children, James Crans and his wife Amanda, Vince Crans and his girl- friend Mandie both of New Castle, Tammy Wheeler and her husband Chris of Mt. Washington, KY and his step-son Jesse Ambuster of New Castle, ten grandchildren, and his mother-in-law, Hazel Tomlinson, who the family wishes to extend their very special thanks and appreciation to for the extra care she gave to Robert over the years.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.

A service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
