Brian J.  Rozzi
Brian J. Rozzi, 55, of New Castle passed away the evening of May 6, 2014 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Born on May 11, 1958 in New Castle, he is the son of Marie D. Stella Rozzi of New Castle and the late Dr. James Rozzi, Jr.

A 1976 graduate of New Castle High School, Brian earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work/Physical Education from Slippery Rock University. He was the owner and a personal fitness trainer for Dark Horse Fitness of New Castle, and he also was an adoption social worker with Adoptions From The Heart where he helped to place many children in loving homes. Brian was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. He served his country in the US Marine Corps during the evacuation following the Vietnam War where he located Prisoners of War and Missing in Action soldiers.

In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his daughter, Hunter Marie Rozzi at home; brother, Randy Rozzi and wife Mary of Pittsburgh, PA; one niece; and three nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St.

A blessing service will be conducted Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Fr. Nicholas Vaskov of Mary Mother of Hope Parish.

Interment will take place at Parkside Cemetery.
