OBITUARY FOR THRESA WALTERS

It is with great sadness that the family of Thresa Walters announces her passing. She was 93 years old born on July 8, 1925 to Samuel and Mary Galiano in New Castle, PA.

She worked as a Manager in Retail clothing for many years. She was a devout Catholic and loved her family and friends. Thresa loved to dance and spend time with her friends. She was a true animal lover and adored her chihuahua Tiny and her collie Prince. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was an intelligent, beautiful and strong woman.

Her family was her priority. She is survived by her daughter Gloria Gray of Simi Valley, CA and Mary Boyd of Denver, CO. She was surrounded by her granddaughter Sabrina, grandson Tim and great grandchildren Casey, Jaxen, Brooklynn and Noah in Simi Valley, CA. She also had 8 other grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had many nieces and nephews and one surviving brother Tony Galiano.

Thresa was an exceptional baker and cook. She often gave gifts of baked goods to all who knew her.

Thresa was preceded in death by her father and mother, Samuel and Mary Galiano, two sisters, Francis Farone and Jenny Singer and two brothers Sam and Guy Galiano.

She was laid to rest at Castle View Memorial Gardens in New Castle, PA.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She is an angel in Heaven now.
