Rosemary C. DeCarbo, 57, of Union Township, passed away the afternoon of June 12, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on August 5, 1960 in New Castle, she was known as her mother, Rosalie Carbon DeCarbo of New Castle, and father’s, the late Charles A. “Bo” DeCarbo, miracle child after overcoming many health challenges throughout her life.

She had worked as a secretary and receptionist for Attorney Carmen Lamancusa. A devoted member of Christ the King Parish, Rosemary served with the Health Ministry for the church. She loved to cook and bake, and she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. Rosemary cherished the time she spent with her family and friends and was known as a big sister to many, especially her cousins and godchildren.

In addition to her mother, Rosemary is survived by two aunts, one uncle, several cousins, and her two godchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Blessing services will be conducted Saturday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon John Carran. Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
