Obituary for Judith Canter
Judith Canter, 90, of Hillsville, PA, passed away June 2, 2018 in Loudon, TN. Judith was a loving and devoted wife, daughter, mother, grandmother and niece. She was a loyal friend to all. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, she was a teacher for 36 years in the Mohawk Area School District. She was an active member of Christ the King Parrish and was involved with the Christian mothers there.
Judy will be sadly missed here and leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Libby) Toth and son in law Donald Toth and Ann Conner and son in law Keith Conner, and three granddaughters who were the lights of her life, Erika and Lindsay Conner and Abby Zambelli. She will be greeted in her heavenly home by her husband, Marion (Frank) Canter, parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Retort, and her aunts and uncles.
Judy will be always loved, never forgotten, and forever missed.
Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Blessing services will be conducted Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Father Vince Kolo.
Interment will take place in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
