Trichie Ann Armstrong "Grandma Pat"  Ligon
Trichie Ann “Grandma Pat” Armstrong Ligon, 61, of New Castle, passed away the morning of April 26, 2018 at her residence.

Born on May 28, 1956 in Clarksville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy Mae Vance.

She held a strong Christian faith and taught Bible study. Trichie helped a lot of people and loved to cook. A devoted mother and grandmother, she was family oriented person who cherished the time she spent with her family.

Trichie is survived by her children, Venetia S. Armstrong, Vakia J. Armstrong and husband Andre Upshaw, all of New Castle, Larria S. Armstrong and fiance James Hamond IV of Lithonia, GA, Lierre V. Armstrong and fiance Christy Trapp of New Castle, and Teresa L. Wright of New Castle; brother, Carl Parchman and wife Cassandra of Clearwater, FL; sisters, Anita Lyles and husband Edward of New Castle, Dorothy Adams and husband Bartal of Evansville, IN, and Vickie Bellamy of Nashville, TN; and 16 grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Charles Armstrong; sisters, Shirley Jean Booker and Sue Parchman; and brothers, George Washington Parchman, Clarence Parchman, and Billy Ray Parchman.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St and Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Prevailing Word World Outreach Center 114 Oakland Ave. Services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00pm at the church, officiated by Apostle David Young.

Entombment will take place in Graceland Mausoleum.
