Delores M.  Ellis
Delores M. Ellis, 88, formerly of Oakwood Way, passed away the morning of March 9, 2018 at St. John XXIII Home in Hermitage, PA. Born on July 2, 1929 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gertrude Lanahan O’Neill. She also was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert W. Ellis, who passed away on December 8, 2010.

Delores had worked for Navarra Insurance, and she also worked for many years as a travel agent with different local travel agencies. A devoted member of St. Camillus Church, she was a member of the church’s Ladies Guild. Delores enjoyed traveling, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

Delores is survived by her children, Robert Ellis and wife Kris of Oceanside, CA and Carolyn Bleggi and husband Doug of New Castle, and grandchildren, Caitlyn, Mark, Jaclyn. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Don, Thomas, Joseph, John, and Leo O’Neill, and sisters, Sister Anne Gertrude and Anne Kish.

Visitation will be held Monday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Tuesday at 10:00am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Camillus Church, officiated by Father Michael Peck.

Interment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
