Ronald E.  Fagnilli
Ronald E. Fagnilli, 78, of New Castle, passed away the evening of February 2, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. Born on April 18, 1939 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Walter and Della Leone Fagnilli. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 28 years, the former Mary McCrea Kerr, whom he married on July 29, 1989.

Ronald had worked for Mesta Machine and as an insurance agent. He retired as a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service. Ronald was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ of Industry, PA. He loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ronald always will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved his family dearly.

In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his children, Anna Marie Knapp and husband Russ of Downington, PA and Ronald Fagnilli of Wilmington, DE; stepson, Tom Kerr of New Castle; brothers, Walter (Babe) Fagnilli of New Castle and Michael Fagnilli of Olney, MD; sisters, Melissa Pierz and husband Bill, Lisa Savelli and husband Fred, and Lonnette Georges, all of New Castle; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cozette Lowery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jeff Phillis of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
