Lois A. Fiello, 78, of New Castle passed away the morning of January 11, 2018 at the Avalon Nursing Center.

Born in New Castle on July 23, 1939, Lois was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian Gardner Hilyard. Preceding her in death on December 28, 2017, was her loving husband, Patsy Fiello, whom she married on April 8, 1958.

Lois was a member of the First Alliance Church. She had worked for nearly twenty years as a cafeteria worker for the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center.

Lois cherished being surrounded by her family. She loved cooking for them and always made the holidays special. Lois was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Lois is survived by her children, Chandra Polley and husband Robert of New Castle, Patti Fennick and husband Timothy of Beaver Falls; Roxanne Perkins and husband Joseph of New Castle; Pasquale Fiello, Jr. and wife Michele of West Pittsburg and Christopher Fiello of New Castle; three brothers, David Hilyard of Mt. Joy, PA; Dwight Hilyard and Daniel Hilyard, both of New Castle; her sister, Thelma Hall of New Castle, twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Hilyard, Charles Hilyard and her sister, Barbara Rees.

Visitation is Sunday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.

Services will be held on Monday at the funeral home at 11:00AM officiated by Pastor Phillip Harrison of First Alliance Church.

Interment will take place at St. Vitus Cemetery.
