Alexander B. "Alex"  Kuchynka
Alexander “Alex” B. Kuchynka, 67, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of January 11, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman, OH. Born on January 12, 1950 in New Castle, PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Beatrice Nocera Kuchynka. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 44 years, the former Elizabeth A. “Betsy” Augostine, whom he married on May 5, 1973.

Alex had worked as a delivery driver for Matthews Casket Company. He also had worked as a shop steward for Youngstown Sheet and Tube. Alex enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching TV, and playing the lottery. He loved all sports but was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Alex cherished the time he spent with his best friend, his dog Chance.

In addition to his wife, Alex is survived by his children, Richard J. Micco and Gloria J. Colello, both of New Castle; granddaughter, Ashley Marie Micco Juresic of Las Vegas, NV; sister-in-law, Joanne Feola; aunts, Kay and Josephine Nocera; and cousin, Stephanie Mazzanti. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Assunta Nocera, aunt and uncle, MaryJane and Sam Perrotta, aunt, Pauline Nocera Micco, and uncles, Angelo and Anthony Nocera.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Blessing services will be conducted Monday at 7:00pm at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Parkside Cemetery.
