Obituary for John M. Okomski

John M. Okomski, 68, of Hickory Township, passed away May 15, 2017 at his residence. Born on August 30, 1948 in New Castle, he was the son of the late John J. and Helen VanSovich Okomski. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 44 years, the former Rebecca Bobbert, whom he married on August 12, 1972.

John owned the B&J Tarp and Awning Company. He was a member of St. Phillip and James Church.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his daughter, Sebrina Marie Okomski of New Castle, and sister, Cynthia Okomski of New Castle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents.

There are no calling hours, and services are private.
