Obituary for Peter Isaac

Peter  Isaac
Peter Isaac, 99, of South Mill St, passed away the morning of May 18, 2016 at his residence. Born on February 16, 1917 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Charles and Jenna Betters Isaac. In 1948, he married his beloved wife, the former Bessie Nader, and the two of them spent 51 years together until she preceded him in death on October 5, 1999.

Pete was the former owner of Pete’s Bait and Sport Shop. In his earlier years, he operated several pool halls on the Southside. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Known as a jack of all trades, Pete was known for spending time with his son at his auto repair shop, C Isaac Automotive.

Pete is survived by his son, Charles A. Isaac and wife Jeannie of New Castle; grandchildren, Danielle Fee-DeLong and husband Nick, Jennifer Hoffman and husband Justin, and Jessica Isaac; and great-grandchildren, David, Isabella, and Ashlynn. In addition to his parents and wife, Pete was preceded in death by his daughter, Marilyn Isaac Fee; brothers, Charles Isaac and Isaac Isaac; and sisters, Mary Mike, Ann Acquaviva, and Sophie Isaac.

Visitation will be Friday from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Friday at 2:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Mike Wells.

Interment will take place in St. Vitus Cemetery.
