Arnold Joseph  Naples
Arnold Joseph Naples, 87, of Monticello NW, Warren, Ohio passed away on August 10, 2011 in Warren, Ohio.

Born in New Castle, Pa. on January 27, 1924, Arnold was the son of the late Andrew and Ann Mozzarella Naples. Arnold was a U.S. Navy veteran and served aboard the USS Cabot Aircraft Carrier during the Pacific Campaign in WWII. Arnold was a graduate of Youngstown State University where he earned a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Education. He retired as a teacher from Liberty High School and prior to that taught at Girard High School. Arnold was a member of the Cabot Reunion Group, enjoyed traveling, dancing and cherished the times he spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife the former Delores Barrickman, a son, Arnold W. Naples of Struthers, OH; step-sons, Richard Stewart, Gary Stewart, Mark Stewart, all of Warren, OH; a brother, Anthony (Tony) Naples of New Castle; sisters, Dora Naples of AZ; Gerri Ann Allay of Cleveland, OH; Viola Sferra of Slippery Rock, Pa; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Frank Naples, Sam Naples and sisters; Caroline Stewart and Sister Margaret Naples.

Visitation is Saturday from 10AM to 12Noon at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. New Castle, Pa

A Blessing Service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday at 12Noon. Rev. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will officiate. Burial will take place in the veterans section at Parkside Cemetery in New Castle. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform military rites at the cemetery.
