Ira W. Honaker, 40, of North Ray Street, passed away the morning of January 23,2010 in Jameson Hospital.

Ira was born February 25, 1969 in New Castle to Auburn and Anna Mae Clark Honaker. His dad preceded him in death, his mother survives him and is living in New Castle.

He had previously worked at the Cheese Factory in West Middlesex. Ira was known for his sense of humor.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend, Hazel Ryhal, a brother Dale Honaker, a sister Gay Honaker all of New Castle and a step granddaughter Kamara.


He was preceded in death by his father and a sister Laurie J. Honaker.

Calling hours will be held Monday 4-7pm at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory 941 S Mill St.

A service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Rev Dennis Bupp will officiate.
