Obituary for Jack Keesey Jr.

Jack Keesey Jr., 59, of New Castle, passed away the morning of December 22, 2016 at Heritage Valley Medical Center. Born on June 24, 1957 in Tarentum, PA, he was the son of Jack Keesey Sr. and the late Betty ‘Jeanine’ Hewitt Keesey. Surviving at home is his beloved wife of 19 years, the former Marie Moriarity, whom he married on September 6, 1997.

Jack had worked as a truck driver for Evans & Hall Paving Company. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, and fishing. Known as a tinkerer, Jack loved building things for his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his children, Jennifer Francisco and husband Ricardo of West Virginia, Jason Wright and wife Leslie of Bessemer, PA, Michael Moriarity of Pittsburgh, PA, and Jason Moriarity of New Castle; sister, Jeannie Shaffer and husband Keith of Pulaski, PA; and 12 grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Justin Keesey.

Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, December 28, at 6:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St, officiated by Reverend Doug Runyan of New Bedford Presbyterian Church.

Interment will be private.
