Obituary for Ann J. Naples

Ann J.  Naples
Ann J. Naples, 92, of South Scott Street, passed away the morning of May 23, 2015 at Edison Manor. Born on September 16, 1922 in New Castle, she is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Elsie Perrotta Panella and Peter Panella. On January 3, 1942, she married her beloved husband, Peter J. Naples, and the two spent over 51 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on June 2, 1993.

Ann was a member of St. Vitus Church. She belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution. Ann loved playing cards with her club, the Wendsda Club, visiting casinos, and bowling. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her children, Carol Maciarello and husband Thomas of New Castle and Roseann Tammaro and husband Raymond of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Tammy Bockman and husband Mike, Jason Maciarello and wife Alexis, and Justin Tammaro; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Christian, Phoenix, and Jocelyn. In addition to her mother, stepfather, and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Schmidt.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Thursday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Vitus Church.

Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
