Edward B. Kuminkoski, 93, of New Castle, passed away October 27, 2012 at the Lawrence County Geri Center in New Castle. Born in Lyndora, Pa. on August 16, 1919, Edward is the son of the late Benjamin H. and Laura Ryba Kuminkoski. Preceding him in death in 2003 is his wife, the former Virginia Trimbur.

Edward was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Butler, Pa.

He was a veteran of the US Army serving during WWII and was a volunteer for the VA for many years. He retired from Pullman Standard Company in Butler where he worked as a mill rite.


Survivors include his daughter, Arlene Kuminkoski of Prescott, AZ; his stepson, James G. Adams of Butler, PA; his brother, Ben Kuminkoski of Butler; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Edward is preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 10:00AM at St. Paul’s Church 128 North McKean Street Butler, PA 16001.
