John J. Kelly III, 62, of 1902 Pennsylvania Avenue passed away July 6, 2012 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.

He was born in Scranton, PA on June 6, 1950 and was the son of the late John J. II and Esther Peterson Kelly. He is survived by his wife whom he married in 1994, the former Mary Ann Bogart.

Mr. Kelly was self employed working in sales. He was a proud United States Marine Corps veteran and served during the Vietnam Era.

He enjoyed traveling, kayaking and lived an adventurous life. He decided to settle down with his wife in a small town to garden, build bird houses and flower boxes. He had a great interest in politics and history. John was a kind, considerate and generous man who meant everything to his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Joseph Bogart fo California.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street. Reverend Dennis Bupp will officiate.
