John Gregory McGann, 81, of Natrona Heights PA passed away the afternoon of February 21,2012 at his residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on April 13, 1930, John was the son of the late Paul and Marie Sossong McGann. He married the former Joanne Edith Weber on May 18, 1957. She survives. John was a veteran of the U.S.Air Force and served during the Korean war. John cherished the times he spent with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his children, Dr. Robert (Carleen) McGann of New Castle; Dr. William (Susan) McGann of Kent, OH; John Gregory (Megan Huff) McGann of Philadelphia, PA; Paul McGann of Savannah, GA; Michael (Janine) McGann of Carey, NC; Lisa (John) McGann Kemerer of Jeanette, PA; Cynthia (Patrick) McGann Magdinec of Valencia, PA and thirteen grandchildren

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert C. McGann and a sister, Ann Batykefer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home 1522 Carlisle St. Natrona Heights PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights.
