Obituary for Delores A. "Dee" Navarra

Delores A. "Dee"  Navarra
Delores A. 'Dee' Navarra of 136 E. Clen-Moore Blvd. passed away the evening of Sunday, November 20. 2011.

Delores was born in Youngstown to the late Paul P. and Mary Toplolosky Olenick. In 1963 she married Jerry Navarra. He survives. She was a member of St. Camillus Church. Delores was very active in her church, serving as a CCD teacher, RCIA Director and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

Delores graduated with honors from Campbell Memorial High School and Bowling Green State University with a B.S. Degree in Education. She was a teacher at Bennett Elementary School in the Youngstown, Ohio School District. She also taught at St. Francis Elementary School in Toronto, Ohio and retired as the Emergency Services Director for Cameron County, PA.

In addition to her husband, Dee is survived by one son, Jerry Navarra, Jr. and wife Mary Jo of Papillion, NE; two daughters, Mary Beth Navarra-Sirio and husband Carl of Pittsburgh, PA; Lisa Navarra-Mogel and husband Kevin of Erie, PA; sisters, Nancy Ankeles of Campbell, OH; Cynthia Mascola of Poland, OH and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5PM to 8PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.

A funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Friday morning at 9:30AM for St. Camillus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM . Rev. Father Thomas Sparacino will officiate.

Burial will take place at Parkside Cemetery and Mausoleum.
