Obituary for Vincent R. Borrelli
Vincent R. Borrelli, 66, of New Castle passed away the morning of February 8, 2020 at his residence.
Born on July 18, 1953 in New Castle he was the son of the late Francis C. (Vaughn) Borrelli. Vince is survived by his mother, Jeanne Tammelleo Borrelli of New Castle.
On September 7, 1974 Vince married his beloved wife, the former Eileen Rozzi. She survives at home.
Vince was a graduate of New Castle High School and Penn State University. He was a Professional Engineer, and Professional Land Surveyor. Vince had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the City of New Castle, Widmer Engineering in Beaver Falls, Pa. and Michael Baker International, until he retired.
Vince was a faithful member and Elder at OakPointe Christian Center.
He enjoyed studying the Bible, and traveling. A loving husband, father and grandfather Vince’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Pa”.
In addition to his mother and wife, Vince is survived by his children, Joel Borrelli and his wife Amanda of Conway, Pa., Becky Harlan and her husband Brent of Volant, Pa., Leanne Borrelli and her husband Leonardo Mazzero of Solighetto, Italy, his brother, John Borrelli and his wife Donna of New Castle, two sisters, Linda Newell and her husband Reed of New Castle, Diane Acchione of Medford, New Jersey, and six grandchildren, Avery, Alaina, Aubrey, Emme, Judah and Luca.
Visitation will be on Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Able Robles will officiate.
Interment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
