Obituary for Theodore R. DePietro Sr.
Theodore R. DePietro, Sr., 61, of New Castle passed away December 4, 2019 at UPMC Montefiore Hospital.
Born on January 11, 1958 in New Castle he was the son of the late Frank “Bud” and Donna Park DePietro.
On March 16, 1985 he married his beloved wife, the former Laura Kitzko and she survives at home.
Ted had worked for Rockwell International and later for Wheatland Tube as a Maintenance Journeyman.
Ted was a great outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ted also enjoyed bowling.
Ted is survived by his two sons, Theodore R. DePietro, Jr. and Anthony W. DePietro, both of Pittsburgh, his brothers, Bruce DePietro and Mark DePietro and his wife Barbara, his sisters, Trudy Benincase and Tracy Hartle all of New Castle.
Visitation will be on Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A service will held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society, 628 Pearson Mill Road, New Castle, Pa. 16101 or a Charity of the Donor’s choice.
