Obituary for Susan DeEulio (DeMatto)
Susan DeEulio, 98, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of May 25, 2021 at Baptist Home in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Born on June 3, 1922 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Maria DeMatto.
Susan had been married to her beloved husband, Gifford DeEulio. He preceded her in death in December of 1996.
Susan was known for being a fabulous cook and seamstress. She enjoyed going to garage sales and looking for antiques. A loving mother and grandmother, Susan’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Susan is survived by her children, Gifford DeEulio, Linda Koufos, and Patricia DeEulio, her sister, Angeline DeMatto and three grandchildren, Alexander Koufos, PhD, Teddy Koufos, and Nicolas DeEulio.
In addition to her parents and husband, Susan was preceded in death by four sisters, and an infant brother.
Visitation will be on Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
Visitors are required to adhere to CDC guidelines regarding the wearing of face masks and practicing social distancing.
A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, at mymsaa.org.
Entombment will be in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
