Obituary for Selina J. Bell (Cummins)
Selina J. Bell, 57, of Union Township passed away on June 25, 2020 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.
Selina was born on March 9, 1963 in New Castle. Her father, Billy Cummins preceded her in death. Selina is survived by her mother Mary L. Rogers of New Castle.
On October 18, 1991, Selina married her beloved husband Charles V. Bell. He survives at home.
Selina had worked as a manager in Youngstown at the PPG Store for thirty years.
She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
Selina loved watching football, smoking cigars, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan. She enjoyed her work and considered the employees like her second family. A loving daughter, wife, mother, and sister Selina’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her mother and husband, Selina is survived by her sons, Jonathan V. Bell, Carrington C. Bell, Garrison D. Bell all of New Castle, her four sisters, Evonne Cummins Williams and her husband Tim, Danielle Cummins, Helen Cummins Smith and her husband Albert, and Kylie Cummins, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins and her three best friends, Eleanor Austin, Michelle Baskeyville, and Deanna Cubellis.
In addition to her father, Selina was preceded in death by her two sisters, Yvette Cummins and Zena Fiorelli.
Visitation will be on Thursday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Road.
Visitors are asked to adhere to CDC guide lines regarding wearing face masks and using social distancing.
A service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lukes AME Church. Pastor William Hogans will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
