Obituary for Sandra Navarra (Roberts)
Sandra Navarra, 80, of New Wilmington passed away the morning of March 15, 2020 at Jameson Care Center.
Born on July 2, 1939 in Sharpsville, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Elza Jay and Willia Blackburn Roberts.
On December 30, 1983 she married her beloved husband, Fred H. Navarra. He preceded her in death on July 24, 2012
Sandie had worked as an office manager and bookkeeper.
Sandie loved going to the mountains and spending time at their camp with her husband Fred. She enjoyed her dogs and cats (her furbabies). A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Sandie’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Sandie is survived by her daughter, Chrystie J. Clarke and her husband Paul of New Wilmington, her son, Brent J. Young and his wife Stella of Mercer, two sisters, Phyllis Tucker of Brookfield, Ohio, Charlene Cogley of Darlington, Pa, five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Sandie was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Walter Gene Roberts, four sisters, Emma Lou Newsome, Barbara Davis, Mary Ellen George and Marilyn Sue Roberts, and her former husband, John F. Young.
Due to the current health crisis within our country, the family will hold a private Memorial Service at a later date.
Burial will be in Brookfield, Ohio.
The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3695 Boardman Canfield Road, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
