Obituary for Robert J. Hetrick
Robert J. Hetrick, 81, formerly of Volant passed away the morning of March 27, 2019 at Lawrence County Geri Care.
Born on December 13, 1937 in New Castle he was the son of the late Robert W. and Doris McMillen Hetrick.
On July 21, 1984 he married his wife, the former Joyce Hunter and she survives.
Robert had worked at CSX Railroad as an engineer before his retirement. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his children, Alan J. Hetrick and Alec B. Hetrick, two step children, Jennifer Johnson and Randy Oney, his brother, Paul J. Hetrick and several grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, William Hetrick.
Honoring his wishes, there are no calling hours and the service will be private.
Interment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
