Obituary for Raymond J. Ippolito Jr.
Raymond J. Ippolito Jr., 67, of New Castle, passed away the afternoon of November 7, 2021 at Quality of Life Service of New Castle.
Born on November 28, 1953 to Raymond J., Sr. and Mary Jane Sbarro.
Raymond married his loving wife of forty-five years, Toni M. Zokle and they were members of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary’s Church.
Raymond worked for the Seven Up Bottling Company for twenty two years. He was an avid hunter, bass player, and member of the Tri-County Country Music Association for over twenty years. Raymond was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Additionally, Raymond is survived by his mother, wife, children: Kristen (Matthew) Smock of New Castle, PA, Brian (Julene) Ippolito of New Castle, PA and Robert Ippolito of Bethlehem, PA, sisters, Beverly Capezio of New Castle, PA, Cynthia (James) Thomas of Boardman, OH, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond J. Ippolito Sr., and brother John “Jack” Ippolito.
Visitation is Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.
Family and friends are asked to meet at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. officiated by Rev. Father Benjamin Barr.
Entombment will take place at Parkside Cemetery Mausoleum.
