Obituary for Mark A. Faraone
Mark A. Faraone, 78, of Neshannock Township went home to be with his Lord the morning of April 11, 2022 at UPMC Jameson.
Born on April 27, 1943 in New Castle he was the son of the late, Joseph and Caroline “Lilly” Cappabianco Faraone.
On June 20, 1964 Mark married his beloved wife, the former Joann Santangelo. She survives at home.
For over twenty years Marked had worked for as a Foreman for Rockwell International Spring Division. He then worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in the Statistical Department.
Mark loved God and was a man of strong faith. He was an active member of Word of Life Family Church.
Mark was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking for his family. He enjoyed spending time with friends. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mark’s world revolved around his family. One of his greatest joys was family vacations at the beach.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by his two daughters, Carol Faraone Hasson of New Castle and Jodi Faraone Phillips (Matthew) of Erie, PA and two granddaughters, Jenna Hasson and fiancé’, Aldo Pomposini and Mia Hasson.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Charles J. Faraone, Sr.
Visitation will be on Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Ted Saad of Word of Life Family Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
