Obituary for Mark "Maypo" DePietro
Mark F. (Maypo) DePietro, Sr. of New Castle passed away on October 23, 2020 at his residence.
Born on December 11, 1954 in New Castle he was the son of the late Frank DePietro, Jr. and Donna E. Park DePietro.
Mark is survived by his beloved wife, the former Barbara Zak, who he married on April 12, 1980.
Mark had worked for Rockwell International Corporation in the forge, until his retirement.
He loved the outdoors, going hunting and fishing. Mark was an avid sports fan of watching football, wrestling and drag racing. He also enjoyed watching game shows on television. A loving husband and father Mark’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Mark is survived by his children, Mark DePietro, Jr. (Claudia), Amanda Andrews and his granddaughter, Cloey Lynne Andrews, his brother, Bruce DePietro, two sisters, Trudy Benincase and Tracy Hartle all of New Castle, his three brother-in-laws, Gary Mayberry (Linda), Daniel Milnes (Shirley), Carl Stephenson (Theodora) and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Ted DePietro.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
The family suggest that Memorial Contributions be made to the Keystone Blind Association of New Castle, 1750 New Butler Road, Suite B, New Castle, Pa. 16101
