Obituary for Louis A. Offredo
Louis A. Offredo, 80, of New Wilmington, PA passed away the evening of June 1, 2019 at his residence.
Born in New Castle, Pa on April 24, 1939, Louis was the son of the late Joseph P. and Irene R. DiCicco Offredo.
He is survived by his loving wife of over thirty two years, the former Joyce Rictor, whom he married on June 14, 1986.
Louis retired from the City of New Castle where he had worked in the Public Works Department for over twenty eight years. He was a lifetime member of the Sons of Italy.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, Louis is survived by his children, James Robert Gish and his wife Kristen of Hillsville, PA, Jason Gish and his wife Tiffany of New Castle, Dan Zoltani and his wife Traci of New Castle, his granddaughter who was like a daughter to him, Ashlee McLaren and her fiancé, Courtney Exposito of New Castle, numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren and his sisters, Rita Smith and husband Dan and Rachel Audia, both of New Castle.
In addition to his parents, Louis is preceded in death by his daughter, Beverlee Gish, sister, Marie Offredo and his cousin, Frank Giangiulio.
Visitation is Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd followed by a service at 6pm conducted by Pastor Rick Shira.
Burial will take place at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
