Obituary for Kenneth E. Jones
Kenneth E. Jones passed away the evening of November 2, 2021.
Born on July 16, 1951 in New Castle he was the son of the late Gaylord and Dorothy Helle Jones.
Ken was President of Reed Oil Company.
Ken grew up in West Pittsburg and was a 1969 graduate of New Castle High School.
Ken proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Ken was a simple man and one of few words. The things that mattered the most to Ken were his love of family, his Pittsburgh Steelers, Corvettes, Harley Davidsons, a cold bottle of Rolling Rock and his many friends.
Ken is survived by his children, Corrin (James) Lombardo, Brittany (Jonathan) Ehret, Chelsey (Dean) York, Madison Jones, Kenneth (Brandy) Jones and Connor Jones, his sister Judy Buzza, five grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform full Military Rites at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
