Obituary for Julia Conti
Julia Conti, 66, of Union Township passed away at her residence the morning of February 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 25, 1952 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Leona Pecore Dick.
On March 4, 1972 she married her beloved husband, Frank A. Conti at St. Joseph the Worker Church and he survives at home.
Julia had worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Health before retiring after twenty years of service. Julia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose whole world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Julia is survived by her children, Anthony F. Conti and his wife Laurie of New Castle, Christopher R. Conti and fiancé, Amy Thai of Las Vegas, NV, Matthew J. Conti and his wife Cassandre, of Cheswick, PA, Melissa A. Cox and her husband Michael of Struthers, OH; sister, Madeline McQuistion of Butler, PA, and eleven grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her two brothers, Darrell S. Dick, John S. Dick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 a.m on Wednesday for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church officiated by Father William Siple.
Entombment will take place at Parkside Mausoleum.
