Obituary for Joan D. Cox (Koelliker)
Joan D. Cox, 86, formerly of Union Township passed away the afternoon of January 25, 2021 at her residence in Allison Park, Pa.
Born on April 7, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Emma Barrea Koelliker.
On June 27, 1952 Joan married her beloved husband, William L. Cox. He survives at home.
Joan had worked for J.C. Penney Department Store as an office clerk, until she retired.
Joan loved animals, especially cats. A loving wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, Joan is survived by her daughter, Judith (Nick) Squeglia of Glenshaw, Pa. her grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) Squeglia, Jonathan (Kiera) Squeglia and two great grandchildren, Vincent and Harper.
A private service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
Entombment will be in Graceland Cemetery.
