Obituary for Jennie J. Fusco
Jennie J. Fusco, 90, of Edinburg, Pa. passed away June 21, 2021. Born in New Castle on July 10, 1930, Jennie was the daughter of the late James and Jennie Scott Fair.
Preceding her in death on Feb. 27, 2010 is her husband, James Fusco, Sr. whom she married on May 22, 1951.
Jennie was a member of the former St. Lawrence Church. She had worked at Union High School as the head cook. Jennie enjoyed watching game shows, playing word games and reading. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two children, James Fusco, Jr. and his wife Debbie of Edinburg, Shirley Miller and her husband James of New Galilee, her sister, Luella (Joseph) Pasquarello, grandchildren, Kristina, Sarah, Kimberly and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Addyson, Cash, Landen, Nathan and Georgia.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jennie is preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Visitation is Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 am for Holy Spirit Parish, St. Camillus site where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM, officiated by Rev. Father Brendan Dawson.
Burial will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
