Obituary for James A. Ciletti

James A. Ciletti age 97, of New Galilee, PA went to be with his Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ on August 3, 2022.

He was the son of the late John and Susanna Labriola Ciletti.

Mr. Ciletti retired from his official inspection station "Jimmy’s Garage” in Chewton, PA. It was built in 1950 and he retired in 1986. He also worked for Medusa Cement Company in 1969 for 17 years.

A World War II United States Navy Veteran he was honorably discharged in 1946. He went to school at age 18 to become an airplane mechanic and served his country; Seaman First Class from (1943 – 1945).

Jimmy served as a New Beaver Borough Councilman 16 Yrs. (1966 – 1982) Congratulated by Tim Shaffer (State Senator 21st District) for his outstanding service to the community. In addition, he also served on the Mohawk Area School Board. His passion and love for gardening was his favorite, along with loving trains since a young boy. He loved reading, science, and history. He worked hard and loved his family.

Jimmy was Preceded in death by his wife Jean Ciletti. Survived by his daughters Joyce Ann (Bill) Bender and Joy (David) Kelly.

Services are private and will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Full Military Rites at the funeral home.
