Obituary for Georgetta R. Presnar (Wischerman)
Georgetta R. Presnar, 90, of Hermitage, Pa. passed away the morning of October 9, 2020 at Clepper Manor in Sharon, Pa.
Born on January 16. 1930 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late William Wischerman, Sr. and Edna Criswell Wischerman.
Georgetta graduated from Shenango High School in 1948.
On September 16, 1950, Georgetta married her beloved husband, Edward W. Presnar. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2003.
Georgetta retired in 1984 as head cashier at Giant Eagle after twelve years of service.
She was a former member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Joseph the Worker Site.
Through the years Georgetta enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo and camping with family and friends. She was a loving wife, and hard- working, generous and an amazing role model to her children and grandchildren.
Georgetta is survived by her four children, Edward Presnar, Jr. of Gallatin, TN, Susan Moser of Hermitage, PA, Georgianna Lipus of Montana, and Roxanne Sieg of Sharon, PA, five grandchildren, Matthew, Grace, Taylor, Tara and Darcy and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Georgetta was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
A Private Visitation and Blessing Service will be held for the family at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Seminarian Merv E. Knieriem will officiate.
Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
