Obituary for Franklin D. "Fritz" Joseph
Franklin D. “Fritz” Joseph, 85, of Union Township passed away the morning of December 7, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in New Castle on November 1, 1936 to the late George and Victoria DeBold Joseph.
Frank married his beloved wife, the former Helen Barbati on November 10, 1966. She survives at home.
Frank was retired from LTV Steel where he had worked as an electrician for many years.
He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Frank was a member of the St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church.
A loving husband, father and grandfather Frank’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his two children, Christine Joseph of Charlotte, NC and Frank Joseph (Susan) of Dubai of the United Arab Emirates and one grandchild, Jett Christine Joseph.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by four brothers, George (Nipper) Joseph, William (Shu Shu) Joseph, James (Jumbo) Joseph and Theodore (Sonny) Joseph.
A Private Blessing Service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St. Father Hanna Karam of St. John the Baptist Maronite Catholic Church will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the City Rescue Mission, 319 S. Croton Ave., New Castle, PA 16101.
