Obituary for Frank L. Campedelli
Frank L. Campedelli, 95, of Neshannock Township passed away on April 7, 2022 at Haven Convalescent Home.
Born on August 3, 1926 in Boston, MA, Frank was the son of the late Louis and Cecelia Campedelli.
On August 11, 1973 Frank married his beloved wife, the former Serena Rashid. She survives at home.
He was a graduate of Boston Latin Prep School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University.
Frank had worked as a Salesman for Carborundum Company of North America, until his retirement.
Frank had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Frank was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports. He loved people and enjoyed socializing and going out dancing. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Frank’s greatest joy was spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Mary Lauren Campedelli of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Beth Postufka (Dennis) of Pittsbugh, PA, and Christian Campedelli of Pittsburgh, PA, three brothers, William, Joseph and John Campedelli, all of Boston, MA, his former wife, Dolores Guarini of Pittsburgh and three grandchildren, William, Samantha and Joseph Postufka and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two sisters, Enes and Angela.
A Private Blessing Service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road with Father Brendan Dawson officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
