Obituary for Evelyn Koss
Evelyn Koss, 102, formerly of Union Township and Hazelcroft Ave. passed away the morning of February 5, 2022 at Rhodes Estates.
Born in Pittsburgh on May 18, 1919, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Steve and Mary Remus Koss.
She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Shenango Pottery where she had worked for forty seven years.
Evelyn was a charter member of the Washington Union Alliance Church.
She loved vacationing and gardening in her yard, especially tending to her roses. She enjoyed spending time with her Shenango Pottery retiree group, attending activities at Rhodes Estates which included playing with the Humdingers.
In addition to her church family, Evelyn is survived by her adopted families, Jack and Katie Allison and family and Dave and Estelle Delprincipe and family.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Frank Koss and Steve Koss, her sister, Frances M. Collins and her niece, Denise Collins.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5p.m. to 6p.m. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd followed by a service at 6p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Landon Stuart of Washington Union Alliance Church.
Burial will take place at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
