Obituary for Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Fisher (Cataline)

Elizabeth A. (Betty) Fisher, 75, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of March 2, 2020 at the Haven Convalescent Home.

Born on October 30, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Edith Dunn Cataline.

On June 5, 1965 Betty married her beloved husband, John R. (Dick) Fisher, Jr. He survives at home.

Betty was a graduate of Hubbard (Ohio) High School.

Betty had worked for Troutman’s Department store for many years as a sales associate and then as a department manager.

Many people knew Betty for her wonderful baking and especially her Christmas cookies. She enjoyed bowling, visiting casinos, traveling and vacations at the beach. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her “Little Man”, Grant Getway.

In addition to her husband, Betty is survived by her two sons, John R. (J.R.) Fisher, III of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Bryan E. Fisher of Orlando, Florida, and her brother, James Cataline of Hubbard, Ohio. She will also be missed by her cat Smokey.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Beth) Fisher.

Visitation will be on Wednesday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.

A service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Frederick Gilbert will officiate.

Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
