Obituary for Dorothy M. Nastal (McClain)
Dorothy M. Nastal, 93, of New Castle, passed away on March 14, 2019 at UPMC Jameson.
Born in New Castle on December 22, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Rebecca Charles McClain.
On October 9, 1948 she married her beloved husband, Matthew John Nastal who preceded her in death on December 14, 1998.
Dorothy was a member of St. Camillus Catholic Church. She was a member of the Altar Society of the former St. Philip and James Church, the YWCA and Silver Sneakers.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Susan) Nastal of New Castle, David Nastal of Newport News, VA, two granddaughters, Kristina (Brett) Butler of Lugoff, SC, Bethany (Mark) Warner of Gahanna, OH, five great-grandchildren, Savannah and Logan Butler, Jorja, Alyssa, and Brayden Warner and her brother, Fred McClain of Clermont, FL.
In addition to her parents and husband Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Frank, and Walter McClain, and three sisters, Betty Webb, Ruth Stewart and Mary Leonard.
Visitation will be on Monday 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A Blessing service will be conducted at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Philip & James Cemetery.
