Obituary for Donna J. Fisher Boak (White)
Donna J. Fisher Boak, 91, of New Castle passed the evening of August 19, 2021 at UPMC Jameson.
Born on April 22, 1930 in Warren, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Arthur W. White, Sr. and Olive N. Annabel White.
Donna married her husband, Paul G. Fisher on December 20, 1948. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1996.
She then married Jesse D. Boak on November 30, 1996. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2021.
Donna attended New Hope Wesleyan Church.
She loved painting, doing crafts and going line dancing. Donna enjoyed going camping taking trips and cruises and traveling to Florida in the Winter. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Donna’s greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Donna is survived by her children, Mrs. Daniel (Kathy) Ludwig, John (Gil) Fisher (Terry), four stepchildren, Candace Gonzales, Steve Boak, Carolle Moses and Sandra Grace, five grandchildren, Danielle Ludwig, Heather (Craig) List, Daniel Ludwig, Jr., Cindy Hartley and Melissa (Paul) Wallace, seven step-grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and four step- great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and spouses, Donna was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Shearer, two brothers, Anthony W. White, Jr. and Lee Roy White, her grandson, Robbie Shearer and son-in-law, Robert Shearer.
Visitation will be on Monday 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Gary DeWitt of New Hope Wesleyan Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
