Donald J. Rispoli, 87, of Neshannock Township passed away the afternoon of March 9, 2021 at his residence.
Born on February 8, 1934 in New Castle he was the son of the late Jack and Olive Snyder Rispoli.
On October 28, 1955 Don married his beloved wife, the former Kayleen Licopantis. She preceded him in death on July 28, 2020.
Don had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corp, during the Korean War Era.
Don had worked on the railroad for over forty years as a brakeman and conductor.
Don was an active member of First Alliance Church.
Don enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting and doing gardening. He was an avid antique car enthusiast. A loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather Don’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
Don is survived by his children, Damian Rispoli of New Castle, Kristina Watkins (Thomas) of New Castle, and David Rispoli (Jennifer) of St. Louis, MO, one brother, Richard Rispoli (Anita) and, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A private visitation will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A private service will follow at the funeral home conducted by his son, The Rev. David A. Rispoli.
Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
