Obituary for Donald R. Michael
Donald R. Michael, 90, of New Castle passed away the evening of February 5, 2020 at The Haven Convalescent Home.
Born on June 26, 1929 in New Castle he was the son of the late Orville and Mildred Allen Michael.
On November 5, 1949 Don married his beloved wife, the former Violet May Diller. She preceded him in death on December 23, 2016.
Don had worked for Penn Power as a Lineman and then a Foreman until he retired after forty one years.
Don had served his country as a member of the United States Army as a 2nd Lieutenant.
He was a member of Good Shephard Church.
Don is survived by his three sons, Mike M. Michael of Ohio, David S. and Lee J. Michael both of New Castle, two brothers, Alan Michael of Dayton, Ohio and Dean Michael of Orlando, Florida, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Honoring his wishes there is no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
