Brian E. Tanner, 43, of New Castle passed away the afternoon of April 25, 2013 in Jameson Hospital.

He was born December 29, 1969 in New Castle and was the son of Joseph, Sr. and Sandra L. Weatherby Zarilla.

Mr. Tanner was a certified welder and certified mason. He was a 1988 graduate of Lawrence County Vo-Tech. Brian enjoyed camping, fishing and country music. He loved his family and spending time with them.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Brian C. Tanner and Aaron Tanner both of Chicora, PA; stepbrother, Joseph Zarilla, Jr. of West Virginia; sister, Jodi Zarilla-Zoltani of New Castle and nephew, Dan Zoltani II.

Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Sylvia Weatherby and Vincenzo and Josephine Zarilla.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 941 S. Mill Street. A service will be conducted by his stepbrother, Pastor Joseph Zarilla, Jr. on Sunday at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
