Obituary for Beverly A. Greaf (Phillips)
Beverly A. Greaf, 89, of New Castle passed away on January 29, 2021 at UPMC Jameson.
Born on April 28, 1931 in New Castle she was the daughter of the late James and Marian Henliae Phillips.
On August 27, 1949 Bev married her beloved husband, Robert Greaf. He survives at home.
Bev was a member of Hoover Heights Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.
She was an avid reader. Bev enjoyed doing embroidery work and traveling. She was a member of the Laff Club. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Bev’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Bev is survived by her children, Diane Ott (Tom) of Center Township, Beverly Houston (Tom), and Cheryl Battles all of New Castle, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
A private service for the family will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Rev. James Llewellyn will officiate.
Burial will be in Castleview Cemetery.
