Obituary for Aubrey "Al" Price
Aubrey “Al” Price, 78, of New Castle passed peacefully the morning of May 22, 2019 at Quality of Life Services of New Castle.
Born on April 22, 1941 in King George County, Virginia he was the son of the late Willard and Bunnie Shook Price.
On July 7, 1964 he married his beloved wife, the former Claudia Howard who survives at home.
Aubry served in his Country during the Korean War and was a staunch supporter of our military.
Aubrey had worked at Rockwell International for over twenty years before he retired.
He attended First Assembly of God Church. Aubrey was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. He was a member of the Coachman’s Club of Scott Township. He was a Classic Car enthusiast and enjoyed going to classic car shows with his wife Claudia. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Aubrey is survived by his children Mary Lou DeBlasio and her husband Angelo, Gregory Price and his wife Michelle, Scott Price and his wife Lisa, four sisters, Peggy Steffey, Cathy Myron, Joan DeFonso and Lynn Buckle, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be on Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Pastor James Dinger of First Assembly of God Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
