Charles J. Quear, 33, of 223 Robinsin St. Edinburg, died the morning of April 10, 2011 at Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Born in New Castle on February 25, 1978, Charles was the son of Edward L. Quear, Sr. and Cyndi Partlow Anderson. His mother survives and his father preceded him in death. Charles was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and enjoyed sports.

In addition to his mother and stepfather Rex Anderson, Charles is survived by a daughter, Katlin A. Quear of Struthers, Oh; a son, Donovan J. Quear of Ellwood City; two brothers, Jeremy M. Quear of Wampum; Edward L. Quear, Jr. of Ellwood City; his companion, Tina Scherer and step-grandmother, Margaret Anderson.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth Partlow, paternal grandparents, John and Mary Quear and step-grandfather, Carl Anderson.

Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 A.M. Rev. Tim Klein of Solid Rock Ministry will officiate.
