Obituary for Alice G. Prosser (Hammond)
Alice G. Prosser, 84, of New Castle passed away the morning of July 28, 2019 at Haven Convalescent Home.
Alice was born on October 14, 1934 in New Castle to the late Harvey C. Hammond Sr. and Bertha V. Earl Hammond.
Alice had worked at Hill View Manor as a dietician in the cafeteria for over twenty years before she retired.
Alice enjoyed spending time with all of her family, her son, brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.
Alice is survived by her son, Roy C. Prosser of New Castle and his fiancé, Michelle Lepisto, her sister, Evelyn Panella of New Castle and her grandchildren, Kaden Bigstaff and Angelina Hill.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her brothers, John Allwine, Carl Hammond, Harvey Hammond, Jr., Harry Hammond, Sisters, Charlotte Thomas, Mary Beaumuir, Betty Regna and Eileen Shoaf.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. Rev. Richard Nero will officiate.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
